Horse Bib Summer - Kentucky

The Summer BIB is the ideal protection for your horse's chest. It protects against friction caused by blankets. It is a pad that contains two flaps that are placed on the front of the blanket where the chest closures are located. A flap will be slipped inside the blanket, directly against the horse's chest. The other will be positioned on the outside to hold the BIB in place. Both edges of the BIB have notches to ensure the BIB stays in place.

The BIB is very soft with its 100% polyester outer fabric and offers great comfort to the horse. Not only does it prevent rubbing but it also equalizes the pressure that the rug exerts on the horse's chest. The BIB can also be used in the same way to protect the tourniquet. It fits perfectly with a fly shirt or a summer shirt, but can of course be used with all types of blankets. The BIB is machine washable at 30°, do not tumble dry.
